Envelope Artwork Requirements

We only accept PDF files.
In whatever program you prefer, set your page size to the size of the envelope you're ordering i.e. 130x190mm.
We need a 10mm (1cm) 'no go zone' all around the envelope - we are unable to print off the edge (bleed).
All artwork for white ink should be supplied in CMYK 100% black - C:0 M:0 Y:0 K:100 (or #000000 if designing in Canva).
If you have multiple names and addresses, set them up as one per page. i.e. if you have 50 names and addresses, your PDF should be 50 pages long.
If you have trouble setting up your file, please research the help file of the particular program you're using.
We are not responsible for quality issues due to poor quality artwork, however if we think your artwork just isn't up to scratch, we'll contact you so you can have the opportunity to re-submit it.

Why are some envelope colours unavailable for White Ink printing?

It’s super important that your text and designs are legible, especially on envelopes – you want your beautiful invitations to reach their destination! So, we've extensively tested all our envelope colours and only offer in the drop-down the ones that will give a good result with White Ink printing. If your chosen envelope colour isn’t included in the list then it’s unsuitable for White Ink printing.

Dont have any artwork? Don't Panic!

If creating a multi-page PDF with all your guest names seems a bit daunting, then choose from one of our eight Peterkin Standard Designs for name and address printing and The Printery will do the rest. All you need to do is fill out our spreadsheet template (accurately!) with your guest details and then we will print in your chosen style. Our designs allow for names and addresses on the front and a return address on the back if you like.
