Gmund Hanf
Hemp is a wild and ancient plant used for thousands of years as a fabric and for papermaking. Created from the long fibres of European-grown hemp, Gmund Hanf paper is left undyed which results in a natural green/white hue.
The colour and texture can subtly vary from sheet to sheet with tiny flecks of hemp caught within the pulp, a reminder of this paper’s authentic origins.
Environment
Gmund Hanf is made from 50% European hemp and 50% recycled plant cellulose from sustainable sources. Hemp requires less land, water and pesticides than trees grown for paper production which also makes this beautiful fibre a more sustainable option in line with Gmund Paper’s outstanding environmental credentials. C2C (Cradle to Cradle) certified.
