Correctly supplied designs mean we won’t need to come back to you, which might cause annoying delays. You’ll be wanting to get your beautiful Letterpress job in your hands ASAP!You can follow our Artwork Guidelines or, if you’re not a professional designer, please click hereAfter placing your order, if your design needs adjustment to make it suitable for Letterpress, there may be a charge for any changes required.If you choose a thinner stock (e.g 300gsm) then the impression will not be as deep as a thicker stock (e.g 600gsm or double-thick)You will run the risk of show-through on the other side if we don't duplex the stock (double-thick)To get more impression we can duplex the stocks together – this will also avoid show through from each side if it’s letterpressed both sides. Bear in mind that when duplexing you can lose some of the impression due to the gluing process and pressure required to stick the stocks togetherImpression depth varies from stock to stock. Click here to learn more about letterpress printing on different types and weights of stock.If your design has elements that are NOT letterpressed (digital artwork) then you will need to order Letterpress + Digital.If your design has two colours of letterpress OR one colour + blind letterpress (no ink) then you will need to order 2PMS colour Letterpress.
Blind letterpress is fabulous for edging designs/floral patterns etc but if you need the print to be legible consider adding a touch of ink.If you're in any doubt whether your artwork is suitable for Letterpress printing and to check it meets our guidelines submit your design and our Customer Happiness Managers, will let you know ASAP if there's any issues to fix or you're good to place your order.
