Description
Gmund Colors Cotton is beautiful and versatile by blending delicately soft, strong cotton fibres with 20% FSC-certified wood pulp. Gmund’s papers are recognised globally for their environmental credentials and unrivalled quality. No additional plants are grown to create Gmund’s cotton paper, making it particularly sustainable.
Sealing your cotton envelopes
Cotton stocks are really absorbent compared to wood pulp stocks. So, the glue line on our Gmund Colors Cotton envelopes requires a little extra TLC to seal. We recommend applying water using a small sponge or similar applicator to the glue flap, being careful not to over-wet the area. If you're unsure how much water to apply, test a spare envelope. Stroke the flap firmly across the seal several times and then pop your sealed envelopes under a couple of heavy books for 5-10 minutes to make sure that the adhesive has stuck. If you don't trust the seal after your first test, use a glue stick for added seal factor!
Features of these envelopes:
• 90x145mm
• Fit inside a DL or C6 envelope
• Water activated glue line (lick and stick or use water with a sponge)
• Seal along the long edge
• Standard postage

Envelopes should be stored in a cool, dry place to prevent environmental factors like heat & humidity affecting the specialist adhesives used in manufacturing.
